Youth Ministry
Leader: Jeff Edwards

We have a generation on Earth that's just preoccupied with life. We're not called to judge or criticize, but to bridge the gap.
How do we bridge the gap with our youth?  We can start by learning some of the characteristics of today's youth. Here are just a few things you might find interesting:
                                            1. Students want to experience God.
They don't want to know God.
                                            2. They are more likely to volunteer than work.
                                                 They want to help people.
                                            3. They don't have face to face communication.
They want face to face communication.
                                             4. Students want to get involved globally.

Here are a few of the students learning styles.
                                     People smart***Music smart
                                     Logic smart***Nature smart
                                     Picture smart***Word smart
                                     Body smart***Self smart

If you feel God calling you to work with the youth please let me know and I will allow you the opportunity to help any time.
If you are the relative of or friend of a youth or even a youth yourself, we would like to invite you to join us on Wednesday nights in the youth room at the family life center upstairs. Our meeting time is from 6:30 to 7:30ish. We have a small group and we strive to have fun while learning what it means to be a Christian.

Remember we should all stop acting like Christians and be one!
